I think it's safe to say that I've come very far. Or at the very least, that I am not the same person I was before. I used to know less, be short, be (more) annoying, and most of all, I was lazier. I wanted to do a lot of cool things, like code, or make games, or be a therapist, and make my mark on the world, but I never put in any effort to do any of those things.
At the present, I am coding this website. When you are reading this, the present will be different. In YOUR present, I will be getting an A on a web design assignment, even though it is occasionally difficult to read, (or your present is further on in the future/you aren't my teacher for whatever reason, so in that case see the future section). Anyways, I went from doing nothing to doing as much as I could. I got accepted into MTCHS and stepped up my game so I could stay here, and somehow made it to my sophomore year. Making games for a job might go from a dream to a reality, and I think that's pretty cool. My favorite game is deltarune, and at a close second is Celeste, and if I make a game someday, it will be heavily inspired by those two phenomenal games. If you haven't played them yet, I would suggest that you do, cause they are incredible.
Nobody knows what the future looks like. But we can certainly hope! In reality, no matter what I say, my future will probably be vastly different from what I think. So with that in mind, my ideal future starts fairly soon. I will complete this assignment on time, get an A, and be able to move on with my life instead of procrastinating. Around 1 year and 6-8 months from now, I plan to be at the Internship Fair, hopefully succeeding in getting hired for one of the good internships. After I graduate, I'll either go on my mission, (for church), or I will be preparing to head to college/get a job. After all of that I will either try to make a good indie game, or I'll try to find a job as a Software developer and possibly work on a game in my free time. Hopefully I'll get married someday, and hopefully I live a long, happy, life, but again, you can't choose how life throws you around. I know for a fact that some, if not most of these will happen, because I will be pursuing these goals for the future, but you never know. Maybe I die early, or work at McDonalds for minimum wage my whole life, (whichever's worse), or maybe I make it big and become a multi-millionare. Whatever happens, I am going to do the best I possibly can to have a good future!
